A WORLD-LEVEL SPORT STAGE FOR DEAF IN TAIWAN AGAIN
After the decade, 21st Taipei Summer Deaflympics in the year of 2009 solidly remains on the extreme-best games among the Deaf Sports Community.
Many people have the impression of Taiwan as a bustling and endless bustling city of Taipei. In fact, Taiwan’s countryside, seashore and mountains are everywhere. The biennial Cycling Tour de Formosa Tournament of the Deaf is a great opportunity to combine sports and tourism.
The Cycling Tour de Formosa Tournament of the Deaf was founded in 2008. It is only the world’s long-distance road race for Deaf. It will last for 10 days during the entire competition and will be held 7 stages that is about 60 to 180 kilometers each stage. All participant will live in different cities every day as the schedule moves.
The people involved can deeply appreciate the beauty, food and enthusiasm of Taiwan. The most special thing is that we have never cost anyone for the accommodation, meals, transportation, and others.
